Yeah I know what you're thinking: "MORE HARLEM SHAKE?" Yeah, I had that same thinking, too. It'd have been one thing to remix it six months ago, but now? Well, it's just different now for obvious reasons. That said, I listen to EVERYTHING sent my way and I had to give this a shot. I'm happy I did. While TJR's house edit was great and functional, it ultimately resulted in rather minimal in changes save for structure. On the other hand, Dave Silcox's remix turns the ubiquitous tune into a club-ready big room bomb. Dutch synths, heavy kicks, and a tough groove, the remix blows the other house versions out of the water. Catchy melody of the original, signature samples, and yet a whole new interpretation. Don't be surprised if you hear this popping up all summer.
