There’s some big news out of left field for Major Lazer today. With just a few weeks to go before the release of Free The Universe, the electronic outfit has officially signed to Secretly Canadian, home mostly to indie rock staples like Animal Collective, Jens Lekman, Here We Go Magic and Yeasayer.

Alongside that announcement, Diplo and friends gave their sophomore LP some cover art (above) and a release date: April 15. You can now pre-order the record on iTunes and, if you do so, you’ll get a copy of the new single, “Watch Out for This (Bumaye).” Head over to iTunes to grab that or buy a physical copy on April 15 and pick up the Lazer Strikes Back Vol. 1 mixtape in the meantime.
