"I'm from the streets where they ain't safe to cross," Bad Boy rapper Los says at the top of his new song, "Wrong Places." "You can get a stray, man, my n***as play wit their safeties off." From there, Los speaks philosophically about his neighborhood and its harsh realities. By the second verse, the rapper grows somewhat celebratory: He made it out and he offers advice to others trying to do the same.

All told, it provides an insightful glimpse into the up-and-coming rapper. Listen here.
