The artists on Flying Lotus' Brainfeeder label can get downright weird. From Gaslamp Killer and Thundercat to Ryat and Teebs, these composers opt for quirky sounds. Still, there's a magnetic quality that forces you to absorb them.

Here, UK producer Lapalux goes gospel with "BETHR," a fluid electro-soul track that's free-wielding in its approach. The song uses calm synths and watery drums to express feelings of freedom and eventual prosperity. This is soothing stuff.

Lapalux's Nostalchic LP is due out in March.
