As we learned late last year, the one and only Jimi Hendrix has an album of previously unheard songs on the way, almost 43 years after his death. Last month we heard “Somewhere” and now we get “Earth Blues.” The heavy, bluesy track was recorded, alongside the album’s other 11, between 1968 and 1970 and was originally intended for First Rays of the New Rising Sun, the album Jimi was working on at the time of his death.

Listen to this long-lost cut below and grab People, Hell and Angels digitally on March 5 and physically on April 1 via Legacy Recordings.
