Hold tight, Ja Rule fans, it seems the Murder Inc. maven isn't going home just yet. While he's reportedly been released from an upstate New York prison, he still must report to federal prison and serve time on a 28-month sentence stemming from tax evasion charges.
According to the Associated Press, Rule might serve less than six months and be eligible for a halfway house. He still owes $1.1 million in back taxes, the report said.
So while it looks like Ja Rule is almost home, he isn't quite there yet.
