DMX had yet another run-in with the law early this morning, all because he skipped the DMV. X was arrested around 2 am today for driving his 1978 Buick without a driver’s license with — as if the situation wasn’t bad enough already — his five-month-old daughter in the back seat.
A police officer apparently spotted DMX at a South Carolina gas station and brought him in to the Spartanburg Detention Center. X was released a few hours later after paying a fine. Said DMX of the incident: “I didn’t have a license … [they] put the cuffs on me. Brought me here. I paid the money. Basically, just five hours wasted for nothing.”
