Although the OWSLA-signed Birdy Nam Nam might be the current "it" French quartet of the moment, Dirtyphonics is another one that you need to know. After making some huge remixes for the likes of Skrillex, Nero, The Bloody Beetroots, and Steve Aoki to kick off their success in the American market just a few years ago, 2013 has the group releasing their first full-length artist album, Irreverence, which will be released March 19 on Dim Mak.

Dirtyphonics makes a sonically diverse set of styles, dubstep, drum & bass, electro house, and moombahcore, but the underlying theme is always going to be dirty bass.  Dirtyphonics might be one of the more forward-thinking groups out there as they've been one of the names ahead of the drumstep developments and they've been known to completely change tempos and styles within the same song; it's risky and it doesn't always work, but the Dirtyphonics boys have definitely found some magic doing so.  The album will be another example of this as it's slated to explore a variety of styles with some high profile collabs with names like Steve Aoki, Modestep, Foreign Beggars, and more.  The album's first single "Dirty" came out at the end of 2012, and now their next single, "Walk in the Fire," is out on February 12 with remixes from Schoolboy and Culprate.

Irreverence Tracklist:

1. Prelude (White)
2. Prelude (Black)
3. Stage Divers ft. Steve Aoki
5. Los Angeles ft. Modestep
6. No Stopping Us ft. Foreign Beggars
7. Chaos
8. Hanging On Me ft. Liela Moss
9. The Mechanism
10. Walk In The Fire

And to celebrate and promote their album, the group is going on a heavy North American tour.  They'll be bringing along Crizzly, LeCastleVania, Nerd Rage, ETC!ETC!, Liquid Stranger for support along the way as they hit up NYC, Washington DC, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, Atlanta, and many more places, so make sure to catch these guys when they bring their bass madness to a venue near you; check out Page 2 for the full North American tour schedule.
