We didn't purposefully keep two consecutive DAD Mixes in the Buffalo, NY region, and we're not sure if Buzz Trillington is acquainted with Solidisco, but it is intriguing to hear two sides of the EDM scene from the same area.
Solidisco is a duo that's been making a lot of noise over the last year. Their love for disco, blended with their new school production style, provides for a truly intoxicating mixture of disco and house that we cannot escape. Neither can the EDM scene; Solidisco snagged a number of releases in 2012 on imprints like Fool's Gold, GrooveTraxx, Kitsune/Scion, Get Right, French Toast, and other like-minded labels. This mix showcases not only their dope original production, but music from Justice, Tommie Sunshine, Oliver, and others.
This is bright lights music for nighttime warriors. If you love to dance, prepare to fall in love with this.
