Another week, another batch of great new songs and ridiculous/interesting news. On the latter front, we found out that some people want Rick Ross gone while Chris Brown and Frank Ocean's thought-to-be-buried feud continued on with a brawl in Los Angeles. Additionally, Gucci Mane won 2013 by being asked to speak during career week at an Atlanta middle school.

There were, as we mentioned, some fantastic tunes that dropped. And in case you feel like you have missed anything, don't worry about it because we've got you covered. Click through to check out the best songs of the week.

Common & J.Period "The Next Chapter (Still Love H.E.R.)"

Almost two decades after sharing his love for hip-hop on Resurrection’s “I Used to Love H.E.R.,” Common returns for a sequel, courtesy of J. Period. The two heavy hitters teamed up on “The Next Chapter (Still Love H.E.R.)” for J.’s upcoming Rage is Back mixtape. J. gives Danger Mouse and the RZA a run for their money with his badass Spaghetti Western-tinted accompaniment to Common’s tale of pride for the game and its players

Action Bronson "Strictly 4 My Jeeps"

This week brought yet another mighty track from the unstoppable Action Bronson. “Strictly 4 My Jeeps” is likely the first offering from his and Harry Fraud’s collaborative Saab Stories, and it only makes the whole thing more enticing. Bronson brings his usual lyricism, power and humor while Fraud supplies an equally intense, percussive backing track. Hopefully the rest of this duo’s joints can keep up with the energy of this one.

Charles Bradley "Strictly Reserved for You"

Veteran soul man Charles Bradley finally gave a taste of Victim of Love, the follow-up to 2011’s incredible, No Time For Dreaming. On “Strictly Reserved For You,” Bradley returns with every ounce of the throwback style that defined his debut, bringing along even more energy and passion. As usual, Bradley sounds like he have walked straight from the ‘60s into a present day recording studio, courtesy of who else but Daptone Records.

Chance the Rapper "Juice"

Chicago rapper Chance The Rapper garnered some attention in 2012 in some circles, but it's looking like everyone is catching on already this year. His latest single, "Juice," arrived with a perfectly straightforward video of the MC spitting nimbly in Times Square. He weaves in and out of the vocal sample-driven production, finding the pocket and then jumping out of it effortlessly while maintaining his charisma.

The Underachievers "Play Your Part"

Following several delays, The Underachievers released their debut mixtape, Indigoism, this week. Before that, though, they shared the project's closing track as a final preview to keep the fans happy before they got the entire effort. "Play Your Part" is one hell of a way to end a mixtape, what with its massive production and tough lyrics. There are some who might favor going out with a whisper, but the NYC duo prefers to go out with a bang, and a serious one at that.
