Why Does It Feel Like Justin Timberlake Will Perform at the Super Bowl?

It really might not be so far-fetched.

Pacific Coast News

There's already a rumored Destiny's Childreunion at this year's Super Bowl Halftime Show, but we have a feeling that's not the only surprise on the bill for the night.

Is it possible that Justin Timberlake will bless the stage? We know his history with the Super Bowl—Janet Jackson nip slip, anyone? And this year, everything points to another possible performance.

Here's why:

First, he recently kicked off his triumphant comeback to music with his single "Suit & Tie," and is on the fast track to have his new album, The 20/20 Experience, in stores on March 19. What better way to help propel that return than in front of millions of viewers?

Plus, Justin is already set to perform in New Orleans, the location of this year's festivities, on Saturday night at the "DIRECTV Super Saturday Night." Could that just be a warm up show?

But these tweets may seal the deal—he doesn't have tickets?! What kind of world do we live in where JT can't get into the Super Bowl? Maybe it's because he's...performing?

This is gonna be a GREAT Super Bowl! 49ers/Ravens?? Can't wait! i'm booking my flight to New Orleans right now!
Oh wait... I don't have tickets. Dammit! Anybody know anybody?? LOL!

Lastly, Jay-Z will almost certainly be in the building supporting Beyonce and we know Hov flourishes on the biggest stages so why not give him and JT a cool five minutes for some "Suit & Tie" action?

Maybe we're wrong, but if we're right—we're all in for one of the best Super Bowl halftime shows in quite some time. JT BACK!
