After three years of silence, Vampire Weekend has finally announced a follow-up to 2010’s Contra. The band has apparently been recording its still untitled third LP in New York and Los Angeles with producer Ariel Rechtshaid and band member Rostam Batmanglij.

There’s no word yet on the title, tracklist, artwork or exact release date, but the new full-length is expected out sometime this spring.
