Tegan: "Released in 1985, just as my parents were splitting up, this was the record that my dad would play every Saturday night (the night Sara and I would stay at his apartment) before bed. Sara and I would crawl into our bunk beds and my dad would start this record.

"I imagine it was a very depressing time for him, 26 years old, newly divorced, two small children, so I forgive him for this..but we literally listened to it every Saturday night for years. I never really stayed awake longer than the first three songs ("Silent Running," "All I Need Is A Miracle," and "Par Avion") so those are my stand out tracks."
