Talib Kweli's Prisoner of Conscious, which is one of our most anticipated albums of the year, officially has a new release date. In an interview with Rolling Stone, he revealed that the project is now set to drop April 23. He also discussed the future of Black Star, his duo with Yasiin Bey (fka Mos Def). Apparently the planned mixtape based on Aretha Franklin samples has been placed on the back-burner, though Kweli noted he'd love to get back to it when Bey is ready.
