In a recent interview with Billboard via Rolling Stone, Questlove said that D'Angelo's new album is only one percent from completion, saying it is "99 percent done." He would also say that the highly anticipated album is definitely worth the wait.
"I would not be far off by saying this is probably my generation's version of Sly [and the Family Stone's] There's a Riot Goin' On," the drummer said. "It's potent. It's funky. It's an extremely hard pill to swallow."
