For the second year in a row, the city of Detroit will honor one of its native sons with the Dilla Day Tribute Concert. The second annual event pays tribute to the legendary producer J. Dilla, who passed away back in 2006.

Royce da 5’ 9” and Talib Kweli will headline the show, which will also feature DJ House Shoes, DJ Sicari, DJ Spinna, Miguel Atwood-Ferguson and hosts Yolanda “Yo-Yo” Whitaker and Grap Luva. The whole thing goes down on February 9 at the Fillmore. Tickets are on sale now and a portion of their proceeds will go to Maureen Yancey (J. Dilla’s mother)’s J. Dilla Foundation.
