BET recently released a riveting look into Chicago's newest music movement and the dangerous life it attempts to portray. During "Murder to Excellence: Life & Hip Hop In Chicago" the film crew hits the streets of South Side, Chicago and learns from those living amongst the troubled land.

In part one, rappers L.E.P. Bogus Boys, Sasha GoHard, Katie Got Bandz, King Louie and others all make appearances and talk about the street life in Chicago and how that is reflected in the music.

In part two, numerous community leaders speak on what the problem is and how to deal with it. They also speak on how Chicago has changed including the educational and employment structure. The representation of how today's Chicago is portrayed is also discussed.

In part three, the documentary focuses on the young talent in Chicago and how we can help steer the youth of Chi-City in the right direction. Watch part one the documentary above and parts two and three below.
