The 100 Hottest Female Singers of All Time

27. Jane Birkin

Band Or Solo Artist?: Solo
Genre: Pop, Alternative
Greatest Hit: "Je t'aime... moi non plus" (1969)

When even Jay-Z is rapping about the Hermes bag named after you, you know you've made become a permanent fixture in pop culture. Before that, however, Jane Birkin got her start in movies, most notably her co-starring role with Serge Gainsbourg in the movie, Slogan. The two teamed up for the film's theme song, "Le chanson de slogan" and went on to duet in 1969 on "Je t'aime...moi non plus," which Gainsbourg originally wrote for Brigitte Bardot. The song was banned in a number of countries because it was super explicit, but its sales defied the odds.
