Band Or Solo Artist?: Both
Band Name(s): The Runaways
Genre: Rock, Punk Rock
Greatest Hit: "Cherry Bomb" (1976)

As the lead singer of The Runaways, Cherie Currie joined the band at age 15 and the teen rock anthem "Cherry Bomb" was written for her at the audition. Men flocked to their shows to watch the heavy metal all-female band rage on stage in barely there clothing. After three albums with The Runaways, Currie went on to record three other albums—one solo and two others with her twin sister.

Later in life, Currie pursued acting, and is currently working on another album. Despite drug addiction and her former wild-child lifestyle, Currie is considered one of the ultimate blonde bombshells.
