Kendrick Lamar's debut album, good kid, m.A.A.d city, sounds unlike anything else we've heard in 2012. It's only right that he continues to promote it in a different fashion. So, speaking to GQ, he says he plans on doing a short film to bring his story to life. When asked what's next, he replied, "Visuals… When I call it a short film, I don’t just call it that for the sake of the album. So that’s a hint." There's also expressed interest in him directing this short film too.

K. Dot also threw out names like Tristan Wilds (fromThe Wire) to portray him, Taraji P. Henson (as his mother) and Rihanna (Sherane) as potential names he'd want to have if he could choose anybody to work with. Whether or not he gets them, the short film is going to be magnificent judging off the quality of his album.
