After rumors hit Twitter yesterday that Trinidad Jame$ has signed with Def Jam, the label announced today that it is indeed true. "We're excited to welcome a young talent like Trinidad to the Def Jam family" said Def Jam President Joie Manda.

Jame$ was sought after by many labels after the MC released his Don't Be S.A.F.E. mixtape and built a huge buzz with "All Gold Everything." It will be very interesting to see how quickly they work on releasing the young artist's first album.
