With the week wrapping up, it's that time again for the best songs of the past seven days. We've heard some fresh newness from upcoming projects from Big Boi, Mystikal, and Pusha T along with a gem produced by the late J Dilla. You'll find those tracks along with a bass-y new joint from Los Angeles producer Nosaj Thing, who has us pretty damn excited about his upcoming Home album.

Nosaj Thing "Snap"

Not Available Interstitial

Nosaj Thing continues to impress with the singles off next year's Home. His latest, "Snap," finds a middle ground between hazy ambient and speaker-demolishing bass music. It's gorgeous, yet it could also snap your sub in half if you're not careful.

Yancey Boys f/ Frank Nitt "The Throwaway'

"The Throwaway" finds the late J Dilla's younger brother, Illa J, linking with the guy in charge of the music in Dilla's vaults, Frank Nitt. Together, he and Illa spit sharp, rapidfire rhymes over a funky-as-hell, previously unheard beat from the late producer. If there are more instrumentals like this that we haven't heard, maybe another posthumous project isn't the worst idea.

Mystikal "Hit Me"

Not Available Interstitial

Ever imagine you'd hear Mystikal getting his James Brown on? Well, that's just what he does across "Hit Me," his latest track to hit the web. While the New Orleans spitter acknowledged it was a leak, he doesn't seem to mind too much given the universal love it's received. Seriously, Mystikal, can we get an entire album of tracks like this?

Big Boi f/ Kid Cudi "She Hates Me"

Not Available Interstitial

With Big Boi's second solo album, Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors, only days away, he decided to drop his collaboration with Kid Cudi this week. "She Hates Me" features a great hook from Cudi that reminds most of his MOTM days. Then comes Big Boi with some great lyrics over this smoothly produced track. But is it too much to ask for a remix for Andre 3000?

Pusha T f/ Popcaan & Travi$ Scott "Blocka"

Not Available Interstitial

Pusha T is gearing up to drop his new mixtape Wrath Of Caine before the end of the year, and this week he dropped a new preview by way of "Blocka." At first one might think this a reggae track, but it's just the gritty production of Young Chop and a monster hook from Popcaan. This is a signature Pusha cut that brings nothing but excitement from his fans for his upcoming mixtape and subsequent album My Name is My Name, which is dropping in early 2013.
