Action Bronson has a successful track record teaming up with one producer and banging out a strong, cohesive, and memorable full-length. His debut, Dr. Lecter with Tommy Mas, put him on the map, and introduced us to his Flushing flows and preference for sample-based, head nodding production. He followed that by teaming up with Statik Selektah on Well Done. But as dope as those projects were, there was something particularly magical about his chemistry with Party Supplies on Blue Chips.

Bronson rode the heavy bassline, breakbeat flavor of "Steve Wynn," then murdered the slow banger "Double Breasted." Yup, Bronsolino claimed his spot on Blue Chips, with more lyrical gems and unique loops than any of his previous projects. There was no need to skip tracks on this joint. It knocked, from top to bottom. -DI
