Talib Kweli’s “To the Music” featuring Maino is a smooth record that has got fans excited for his upcoming album, Prisoner of Conscious. But the album that was originally set for November 20 is now pushed back to an unknown date next year. Kweli explained during an interview with Power 105’s The Breakfast Club that dismantling his label Blacksmith Records was the main reason for the album’s delay.

Kweli says that he has a label called Javotti Media, which is where the album will be released. He is looking at February of next year to drop the album. Watch the rest of the video above that explains the situation with his manager Cory Smith and how the label shut down.
