As the holiday season draws nearer, indie caroler Sufjan Stevens is getting in the spirit of things. Today the Chicago multi-instrumentalist debuted his music video for “Silver & Gold,” and it couldn’t be more different from last month’s “Mr. Frosty Man” short.
The new clip is a simply a collection of retro home movie style footage of Sufjan’s nephew having a grand ol’ time on the beach. Watch that up above and grab the track on Steven’s upcoming box set, Silver & Gold: Songs for Christmas Volumes 6-10, November 13 on his own Asthmatic Kitty.
