Video: Ghostface Killah Says He's Recorded Tracks for Possible Wu-Tang Album

Ghostface sounds ready to get back in the lab with the crew.

Ghostface Killah may have his hands full with the upcoming release of Wu-Block, but it hasn’t stopped him from getting in the studio to record some new tracks. Recently, he was in the lab with RZA laying down records for a possible Wu-Tang Clan reunion album.

During an interview with MTV News, Ghostface learned of RZA’s request to lead the Wu to another successful run since the 20-year Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) anniversary is coming up. He agrees that RZA should have creative control over their potential LP since he is a seasoned veteran in the game.

“He said that November is the 20th anniversary and he's trying to drop something in November,” he said. “But he knows what it takes to go ahead and get there. He done studied the game now, he been around this shit for 20 years. Longer than 20 years.”

He added that if the Wu believes in RZA one more time, it could be very rewarding. “He was like, if y'all can just believe in me and let me go ahead and do what I gotta do with this, we could just be outta here and make a shitload of money," he continued. "I believe in him because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be standing here today, regardless of what. He was determined. He still got that same hunger for this Wu shit.”
