The 50 Biggest Hip-Hop Clichés

Rappers blaming the label for everything

Examples: 50 Cent's issues with Street King Immortal, Lupe Fiasco's battle with Atlantic Records over Lasers, Kid Cudi's problems with Universal over the promotion (or lack thereof) of WZRD.

You might be a rapper if... you call yourself the CEO, the boss, the head person in charge, the king, the kang, the president, and yet—you still pass the buck. If a single flops, or an album tanks, or fans are disappointed, why fault the person making the music? Instead, blame the people who gave money and opportunity to the person making the music. Any idiot can see that, from where the CEO sits.
