Dr. Dre’s mythical Detox has gotten rap fans' hopes up over the years, only to get them crushed when Dre decides to lay low and pursue other endeavors. His third and last solo album, which was initially announced in early 2000, has been confirmed by a slew of artists that it will come out soon. From T.I. to Drake to Lil Wayne to Kendrick Lamar, every year rap fans expect that the album would release and make hip-hop history.
Even though two singles—“Kush” and “I Need A Doctor”—piqued our interests on Detox, there’s been a considerable amount of time since Dre’s last album, The Chronic 2001.
