The good folks over at Pigeons and Planes have yet another great list to share today. The latest list looks at the dark side of music, at the long tradition of the murder ballad. The top ten list mostly features musicians from the country and folk end of things, but wild cards like Jimi Hendrix and Bobby Darin show up as well.

Rounding out the top three are Bob Dylan with “Ballad of Hollis Brown,” Nirvana with his MTV Unplugged performance of Leadbelly’s “Where Did You Sleep Last Night” and Johnny Cash with “Delia’s Gone.” Check out the complete list through the link below.
