When you think of style icons, you think of Stevie McQueen or that guy who sold salad dressing. They dress in a manner that you try to emulate today—always appropriate for the mood and carelessly comfortable in their own skin as well as their clothing. When I think of style icons I think of Murphy Lee of St. Lunatics fame. He dresses in a manner (he’s still kickin’, can’t say the same of for your icons, bro) that I try to emulate today—always appropriate for the mood and carelessly comfortable in his skin as well as his clothing. His music videos from his time in the spotlight are as transcendent as an old alzheimer’d out Italian man wandering around a backstreet in Milan. By the blogosphere’s standards, that's pretty fucking transcendent.

John Lugg is a blogger living in Pennsylvania. He enjoys making tuna salad and watching movies based off of Jeff Shaara novels. You can read his personal blog here and follow him on Twitter here.
