President Obama Weighs in on Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey Feud

So what's Obama think about all this?

None

President Barack Obama is pretty in-tune with his pop culture and entertainment news. In a recent interview with Miami’s Michael Yo of The Yo Show, Obama chimed in on the supposed dispute between Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey on American Idol.

When asked about if he can repair the relationship between them, he gives a message of peace.

"I think that they are going to be able to sort it out, I am confident," he said. "I'm all about bringing people together, working for the same cause. I think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they're moving forward and not going backwards."

Obama may not have been taking sides, but he seemed to be playing favorites. "Mariah, she's actually done some events for us," he said. "Nicki I don't know, but I've got her on my iPod."
