Natina Reed of '90s girl group Blaque was killed early this morning in Atlanta in a hit-and-run accident as she was crossing the street, according to tweets from those close to her. She would have turned 33 on Sunday.
Blaque member Brandi Williams tweeted this message earlier today:

As one-third of the Atlanta-based girl act, who achieved success for hits including "808" and "Bring It All to Me," Reed also starred in the 2000 comedy Bring It On alongside Gabrielle Union and Blaque group members Shamari Fears-Devoe and Brandi Williams. Reed was a protégé of the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes of TLC who was killed in a car crash in Honduras in 2002.

She was previously engaged to rapper Kurupt in 2001 and leaves behind a 10-year-old son, Tren Brown, with him. Reed was rumored to be back in the studio with Blaque to work on an upcoming album.
