Conscious hip-hop legend Lupe Fiasco recently sat down with MusicFeeds.TV for a chat. The Chicago kid spent the bulk of the interview discussing his upcoming Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album Pt. 1. Lupe admits that making it a sequel was something of a marketing ploy and says that the “Great American” part isn’t meant to sound inflated.

At around two minutes, Fiasco talks about the record’s cover art (an all-black square), saying that it was largely to see how much the label would let him get away with. Check out the interview up above and pick up Food and Liquor II September 25 via Warner Bros.
