Actor Tony Danza was making the rounds earlier this week to promote his new book, I'd Like to Apologize for Every Teacher I Ever Had. And during his interview with Access Hollywood, he opened up about how he and Tupac were pen pals. Yeah.
Apparently the two linked while Pac was in jail in 1995. Danza said that he told the late rapper "Maybe there is a better way to do this," though he realized Pac couldn't exactly be a "goodie two-shoes." But, Danza continued, "Maybe there is a way to inspire kids."
Pac apparently wrote back and thanked Danza, who said they continued writing each other and eventually met at a premiere. The world is a crazy place.
