VIBE, consisting of Chris Young The Rapper and Rossy (singer/producer), are hustling to be the new faces of a hip-hop generation. It's no coincidence that the two college friends are dropping their first album today, on the International Day Of Peace. The album, Carpe Diem, is packed with universal messages built around the reoccurring themes of war, political injustice, and love. On this day VIBE aims not only to release a genre-breaking album but also to commemorate and strengthen the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples.

Over the past year, the pair have amassed almost 400,000 Youtube views, with their single “Touch The Stars," bringing in 112,000 hits alone. Their first full-length mixtape, 2011’s Hakuna Matata, has seen over 50,000 plays on Soundcloud, and been re-blogged over 100 times. Bringing intricate production and more personal themes into a succinctly mature tome, Carpe Diem's 14 tracks is set to transcend demographics and spread their uplifting, thought-provoking word to everyone.

Check the above video for a little taste of what VIBE is all about.
