David Dallas, the New York-based rapper hailing from New Zealand, releases a follow-up to 2011's The Rose Tint with an EP inspired by Jamiroquai. Buffalo Man is six tracks with various samples of the English pop band’s music catalogue that includes his interpolation of “Spend A Lifetime.”

Many fans are probably unfamiliar with Dallas' Jamiroquai influence, but he credits the band for opening him to new R&B and rap music in his explanation for the project. It was their 1996 singles “Virtual Insanity” and “Cosmic Girl” that caught his attention. Listen and download Buffalo Man below.
