The day before dropping his Detroit mixtape this week, Big Sean grabbed the rap world’s attention with tape-track “RWT.” Big Sean spits a powerful, ever-intensifying flow about betrayal over an unsettling track produced by SouthSide. If that wasn’t enough, the video finds Sean in the woods wearing some sweet camouflage and ignoring the advice of Smokey the Bear.

Even though it's not clear when Freddie Gibbs will release his next project, Baby Face Killa, word on the (Internet) streets is that it's coming soon. But even if it's not, at least he shared a clear rugged gem in "The Hard," which features a smooth and soulful guest vocal performance from Dana Williams.

Kanye West, Jay-Z & Big Sean "Clique"

The dark, epic “Clique” features Throne mates Kanye West and Jay-Z, plus Big Sean and production by wunderkind Hit-Boy. Quality is expected of the G.O.O.D. Music crew, but “Clique” only makes the days until that September 18 release feel longer
