When country artists Willie Nelson and Randy Travis declined to perform at this year's Republic National Convention, the folks behind the event went in another direction. They were able to land Wyclef Jean, who will take the stage in Tampa, Fla. next Wednesday, August 29.
It's definitely an interesting choice, particularly on Jean's part. You might remember that he supported Barack Obama's campaign back in 2008, though clearly the former Fugee is going a different route for this election.
