Stephen Colbert welcomed yet another musician onto his Report last night to commemorate this past weekend’s StePhest Colbchella ‘012 RocktAugustfest. Following Grizzly Bear and Santigold’s performances, Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne closed out a nautical-themed week of the show.

Coyne and Colbert got on their backs in a space capsule for a chat about groupies, Yoko Ono and fried fish. After that came The Flaming Lips’ performance of “Ashes in the Air” from their headlining gig at the New York City festival. "Ashes in the Air" comes from the Flaming Lips' latest full-length, the collaborative The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends, out now on Bella Union/Lovely Sorts of Death/Warner Bros. Watch the interview above and check out “Ashes in the Air” plus web exclusives “Do You Realize” and “Drug Chart” below.
