Norah Jones’ “Miriam,” off her Danger Mouse-produced album ...Little Broken Hearts, places her in the middle of Texas’ Lake Bastrop all alone. The song about her seeking revenge against another women is extended into a eerie sense in the Phil Andelman-directed video.
A bloody oar is dipped in the water and at the end of the clip, we see Miriam sinking to the bottom. It’s a different image of Norah, but still holds a powerful message for confronting someone who broke up a loving relationship.
