Hip-hop’s favorite Detroiter kicked off his tour of Japan this with a few surprises. While playing Tokyo’s QVC Marine Field, Eminem brought out a very special guest: his old pal Dr. Dre. The Compton rapper performed some of his own tracks, including his 2000 single “The Next Episode,” with a little help from Mathers.
This all went down just a day after Eminem’s show in Osaka, where he brought his Bad Meets Evil co-founder, Royce da 5’9” onstage. Eminem’s whole Japanese tour is in support of his seventh album, Recovery, out now on Shady/Aftermath/Interscope.
