The recent news that Mac Miller is being sued by Lord Finesse for the unauthorized use of one of his instrumentals on Mac's K.I.D.S. mixtape has the rap game double-checking their releases. Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa decided to delay their Live In Concert collaborative mixtape drop this month because they were worried about possible lawsuits, and in this interview with Ruby Hornet, the Hot Spitta goes into further detail about the situation at hand.

Curren$y explains that he too is being sued by a band for a song he sampled on his Fast Times at Ridgemont Fly project, saying the argument against artists like him is that they get popular off the free mixtape that uses the sample, which allows them to tour, and then they get paid to perform the song containing the sample. Therefore, the sampled artist feels like they deserve a cut. After breaking it down, Curren$y adds, "It's a cold game, man." Watch above.
