It looks like two kings of modern R&B have finally decided to let bygones be bygones. According to a recent interview with MTV, R. Kelly called Trey Songz talented and said that he’d love to work with the Virginia singer/songwriter. Trey, in response, said “I can’t explain how much that means to me. He’s been an influence and an idol for me for a long time.”
Trey and Kellz have had beef since 2009, when Trey released the diss track “D.O.A. (Kellz),” on which he criticizes the Chicago musician for using Auto-Tune. Watch interviews with both musicians above and cross your fingers for a future collaboration.
