Earlier this month, the news broke that Drakewas named as the executive producer of Aaliyah's new posthumous album, which is already in the works. Well, Timbaland, who produced many of Aaliyah's hit records and was very close to her, thinks that he should be included in the production of the project, along with Aaliyah's other frequent collaborator and friend Missy Elliott.

In a recent interview with Power 105's The Breakfast Club, Timbaland shared his feelings on the matter, saying, “I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if [Drake] do it, it should be with me and him, and Missy. I don't know what's going on. The proper way to do that would be for me, him and Missy to be all on the record. For it to be on his record, that would not be right." Drake also plans on debuting a new song featuring Aaliyah this weekend during his annual OVO Fest in Toronto.
