Jay-Z is about to take his talents to the big screen, but not in a acting role.

Critically acclaimed producers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer have confirmed that will be on location to film Jay-Z’s Made In America Festival held in Philadelphia. For September 1-2, the line-up will include huge names such as Drake, Pearl Jam, Skrillex, Rick Ross and the highly anticipated reunion of Run-DMC. The documentary is aimed to show the festival came together. Here’s what Grazer had to say to the New York Post:

“The festival showcases 20 pre-eminent artists that speak to the new generation. I am producing the film with Steve Stoute and Jay. Ron is directing. It is going to be born through Jay-Z’s perspective . . . how he puts the event together. Jay stayed the king for a very long time . . . I can’t even begin to explain how he is capable of remaining relevant. He is a phenom, like a musical Michael Jordan.”
