Like most fun things, it turns out singing while driving can be quite dangerous. A new study by Accident Analysis and Prevention has found that drivers have slower reaction times and are therefor more likely to get into accidents if they’re singing. The study tested the reaction times of 21 Australian drivers of varying ages and found a significant difference in reaction times.

If not being able to belt out “Bohemian Rhapsody” with your buddies wasn’t bad enough, the study also found that just listening to music while driving can cause the same problem. It looks like driving just got way more boring.
