Freeway is ready to drop gems on listeners once again. According to a press release, the Philly rapper has signed a deal with Babygrande Records and plans to release a new album, Diamond In The Ruff.
Diamond In The Ruff is his first album since he teamed up with the Seattle producer Jake One on 2010’s Stimulus Package. Free plans on collaborating with Jake One once again, Needlez and Bink!, as well as artists Wale, Styles P, Marsha Ambrosius, Musiq Soulchild, and more.
“Freeway is a legend. Philadelphia Freeway is easily one of my favorite albums of all time. From his time working with Jay-Z and Roc-A-Fella to his independent releases, Freeway remains one of the most consistent artists,” Ruddy Rock said. “We’re excited to partner with him and Amir for Diamond In The Ruff.”
Diamond In The Ruff is scheduled to release on November 13. He is currently working on his upcoming mixtape, Freedom Of Speech.
