J. Cole made a surprise guest appearance at Hot 97's Mic Check showcase last night. And after he spoke on why he doesn't like to release a ton of music to the web, he previewed a brand-new track a cappella. It's "Chaining Day," which is wordplay-heavy ode to where he's at now in his career. Hopefully he shares the full version soon. You can watch the footage above.
