Slaughterhouse's upcoming album Welcome to: Our House got pushed back to August 28, but their fans should not be upset, because they have plans to release a brand new mixtape before the album comes out, made up of all fresh material. In a recent interview at the BET Awards with Jenny Boom Boom, Royce da 5'9', Joell Ortiz, and Crooked I (Joe Budden was off recording vocals for the new LP) revealed that they want to do a mixtape before the album to "get more steam behind it." They also explained that the album is not fully recorded and mixed yet, and there are still administrative things that need to be handled for the project. Sounds like releasing a mixtape in the meantime is the perfect solution. Watch the entire interview below, and stay tuned for more info on the mixtape's release date.
