Early this morning, Mac Miller hopped on Twitter prior to his flight overseas to sound off about the lawsuit brought against him by Lord Finesse. If you haven't heard about it yet, the D.I.T.C. member is suing Mac over his use of the "Hip 2 Da Game" instrumental. And this afternoon, Finesse spoke on the matter some more via his own Twitter account, though he makes he clear he hopes to speak on this with Mac outside of the social network.
1.I appreciate Mac’s kind words but his people did not handle his business correctly.
2.Basics – Mixtapes are one thing, but you can’t take someone’s else’s entire song, shoot a music video and call it your own.
